Chicago Cubs Fail Twice In One Day; But Still Manage To Win The Game [Video]

Although somewhat improved from last year, the Chicago Cubs are still projected to be one of the worst teams in baseball.

These two occurrences help prove that fact.

During this afternoon’s game against the Pittsburgh Pirates, outfield Junior Lake didn’t quite look at his teammates before he went out on the field.

He probably should’ve since he wore the wrong jersey to the park. Instead of wearing the uniform that reads “CUBS” across the chest he ended up wearing the jersey that read “Chicago” instead.

To add insult to injury, pitcher Pedro Strop and catcher John Baker both chased a failed bunt by Pirates first baseman Gaby Sanchez that resulted in a pop up in front of home plate.

Excited to catch the ball Strop ended up running Baker over for the ball.

Let’s just thank god no one was hurt.

The Cubs did win 3-2 in the game.
