Number 2 Villanova and Number 3 Syracuse Get Upset in NCAA Tournament [Video]
They don’t call it March Madness for nothing! Anything can happen in this tournament and yesterday we saw what makes it so special.
Two big upsets took place yesterday, number 11 Dayton University defeated number 3 Syracuse and number 7 Uconn defeated number 2 Villanova.
The Dayton/Syracuse game came down to the final shot with Dayton up 53-55. Syracuse star point guard Tyler Ennis pulled up for a questionable three, most believe he had enough time on the clock to maybe find a better shot.
When the clock hit zero the potential Cinderella team rushed the court enjoying their entry into the sweet 16, which Dayton has not been apart of since 1984. Check out the game highlights below.
The Uconn/Villanova game was not nearly as close. The Huskies defeated their former Big East rival soundly due to the stellar play of Shabazz Napier who scored 25 points and shot 4-8 from three point land. Uconn defeated Villanova 77-65. Check out the highlights below.
I think people are definitely realizing how difficult it is to have the perfect bracket. You can watch all the games and know all the stats but it is very hard to calculate the heart and drive of a team, and that is why their may never be a true perfect bracket. Unless ofcourse someone comes back in time to make sports bets like Biff in “Back to the Future”
