Darrelle Revis Contacted Jets About Returning; Then Signs With Patriots
The New York Jets traded Darrelle Revis last April in a long outstanding battle that resulted in the cornerback becoming upset with the organization.
He then criticized the Jets for their decision making after the trade.
“I felt that type of vibe, that they weren’t truthful, yes. But I don’t feel anything. I mean, it’s over. It happened; u have to move on.”
Earlier today reports had began surfacing that he was speaking on a reunion with the team.
It turns out that he may have doing that just to get more money from the New England Patriots.
He ended up signing the team on a one-year, $12 million contract to play at Foxboro.
The shutdown corner had signed a six-year, $96 million contract extension after getting traded.
