Dallas Cowboys To Release Their All-Time Sacks Leader In DeMarcus Ware
The Dallas Cowboys are releasing their best player, and all-time sack leader DeMarcus Ware as the opening of the NFL free agency opens up according to CBS Sports.
Apparently the former Pro Bowl player refused to take a pay cut from the team, making the organization in which he has been with since they drafted him in 2005, have to release him due to their salary cap issues.
The move saves them $7.4 million of cap space.
32-year-old Ware had 117 sacks and earned six pro bowl trips with the team. After being healthy the majority of his career he had an off year last season battling multiple injuries.
He is now free to sign with any team.
