Christina Milian & Hope For The Holidays Team Up To Give Back To New Orleans Families [Details]
Eight years after Katrina hit New Orleans many of the cities natives are still picking up the pieces in rebuilding the life they once had pre-Katrina. In 2010 the “Hope for the Holidays” campaign was created by Irving Morris to support United Way of Southeast Louisiana’s NO Place Like Home rebuilding initiative.
During that year, Roman Harper and his foundation, Harper’s Hope 41, funded the first family through Hope for the Holidays. Three years later singer/actress Christina Milian signed up to join Hope got the Holidays as one of their celebrity ambassadors.
Christina Milian and Hope for the Holidays team up to give hope to New Orleans families with a news Indiegogo campaign. The campaign has set a goal to raise $50,000 to help in the rebuilding of homes devastated by Hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Isaac.
