New York Knicks Raymond Felton Posts Bail [Photo]
The New York Knick guard, Raymond Felton, posted bail this morning after officially being charged with One count of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree and one count of criminal possession of a firearm. It was reported that last night during the Knicks lost to Mavs, Felton wife attorney took his weapon to the police station where she filed an official report. Allegedly, she claims that Felton pointed and threaten her with the weapon but from the criminal charges no domestic charges was added. Felton was issued a six month order of protection from his wife and made bail of $25,000. There was no traveling restriction so he can continue to travel with his team. It still remains to be seen if the NBA or Knicks Organization will take any actions against Felton. We know how the league feels about guns since the Gilbert Arenas days. It was reported last week that his wife had filed for a divorce so it seems like the Knicks season isn’t the only thing on Felton conscious right now. His next court date is set for June 2nd.
