Hall of Famer Tries To Make Baseball Opening Day A Federal Holiday
Baseball hall of famer Ozzie Smith is trying to give us another day off of work.
He is trying to make the first day of the Major League Baseball a national holiday.
Smith along with Anheuser-Busch as part of the “hitting the campaign trail” is looking for 100,000 signatures so that they can send it to the White House before March 31.
If this does pass, maybe we could look for a day off of work before football season too. Hey. why not?
Smith will be holding a press conference tomorrow to make the announcement on Budweiser’s official webpage.
What day would you make a holiday?
