Former NY Giants That Had HIV Dies at Age of 57, Possibly Pneumonia (Details)
Former NY Giants, Roy Simmons, passed away today in his NY home at the age of 57. The former offensive lineman became the second former NFL player to come out as being Gay in history. He was also the only NFL player to acknowledge that he was HIV Positive which was a big step for the sport. Daily News also reports that after his NFL career was over, he was homeless and was prostituting in San Francisco, earning $15 a trick.
