Mikaela Shiffrin Becomes Youngest Gold Medal Winner at 18 Years Old. [Details+Video]
Eighteen year old Mikaela Shiffrin made history today by being the youngest Olympic Ski Slalom Champion ever winning her first gold for the USA.
According to Espn.com,
Shiffrin is the first American woman to get a slalom medal of any color since Barbara Cochran won gold at the 1972 Sapporo Olympics.
