Girl Scout Sells 117 Boxes of Cookies Outside of Pot Store in Two Hours (Details) [Video]
You read that right, a girl named Danielle Lei and her mother decided to sell some of her girl scout cookies. They decided to set up shop outside a pot store where they sold 117 boxes of cookies in two hours! A spokeswoman for Green Cross, Holli Bert, gave them the blessing and told how after 45 mins he had to call for backup with cookies. Lei mother talks about the situation and if she’s condoning the use of marijuana:
I’m not condoning it, I’m not saying go out in the streets and take marijuana. It also adds a little bit of cool factor. I can be a cool parent for a little bit.
LA Times reached out Kelly Parisi, chief communications officer of Girl Scouts USA, which basically said Lei is not breaking any laws of the Girl Scouts. But the Girl Scouts of Colorado didn’t approve of this move and in fact through Jabs at Danielle on twitter. While on the flip side Green Cross has embraced the smart mother/daughter duo for thinking to sell outside their shop. They have posted multiple items on it’s Facebook with comical comments like:
I don’t always buy Girl Scout cookies, but when I do, I buy them from the genius outside The Green Cross pot dispensary.
