Eastern Conference wins 2014 All Star Game. [Video]

Sunday Night’s All Star game was one for the record books, literally! Plenty of all star records were broken tonight including points scored in a half (Western Conference with 89), Feild Goals made (18 by Blake Griffin) and 3 pointers made in a game (Carmelo Anthony with 8)

From the tip it was a dunk exposition led by Blake Griffin who had 7 dunks in the first half including a ridiculous windmill. Lebron also showed off with a sick windmill off of a fast break. At the end of the first half it was the West leading the East 89-72

Things began to heat up in the second half when the East began to make a run and the young stud Kyrie Irving from Cleveland Scored 15 points in the fourth quarter to help the East comeback. Irving won MVP honors with 31 points and 14 assists.

The East beat the West 163-155 which broke the record for combined points scored in a game.

Some other notable performances on the West came from Blake Griffin of the Clippers who scored 38 points which was four points shy of the all time scoring record held by Laker great Wilt Chamberlain. Kevin Durant also had a great night also scoring 38 points with 10 rebounds, six assists and a steal.

On the East Carmelo Anthony dropped 8 three pointers scoring 30 points and grabbing five rebounds, and as for King James he had some of the most spectacular dunks of the night and finished with 22 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and three steals.
