Rick Ross Addresses 50 Cent Beef, Talks MasterMind, And More In Interview With HuffPost Live
Rick Ross his interview with Huffington Post the MMG boss discussed a number of topics with host Marc Lamont Hill. From his upcoming album, Mastermind, to his past beef with Queens native 50 Cent (2009) Rozay dished on it all this 20 min interview.
On his MasterMind album:
This is an incredible body of work. This is an album I put the most into recording wise. You know musically I always come to the table with some of the best production in the game but sonically it was postproduction on this album that really made a big difference. We bring Puff Daddy in to mix the album and you know just bring the extra musicians in. So the music can feel like it was sewn together. All five albums previously whenever I mixed the album and went to mastering it may have taken me three hours. On this album it took me three days. […] I wanted my album to feel like it was from the 90’s.
On 50 Cent beef:
At the end of the day, it’s all about chess, you know what I mean. When you don’t have nothing to lose, like I didn’t at that point, it really ain’t matter.
