Chris Paul to return Sunday against 76ers

Los Angeles Clippers will have their all-world Point Guard back before the all star break.

Clippers point guard Chris Paul will make his return to the court on Sunday against the Philidelphia 76ers.

Paul has been out since January 3rd with a separated shoulder.

According to ESPN.com Paul has been participating in contact drills all week and Clippers coach Doc Rivers said that “He looked great and we plan on playing him”.

Paul also has every intension of playing in the All Star game next week, and Coach Rivers sees nothing wrong with it.

According to ESPN.com:

“I like him playing in the All-Star Game, personally,” Rivers said. “I think this is a rare case where he’s ready to play and the All-Star Game is probably the safest venue for him to play. I think it will just be a good thing for him to get up and down. It allows him to go up and down in an NBA game with really good players that don’t play defense in the game so I think that would be very good.”

Paul has mixed 18 games and since his absence the Clippers, especially forward Blake Griffin have actually been looking good with a 12-6 record.
