New England Patriots “Spygate” Super Bowl Ring Up For Auction [Photo]

The infamous spygate Super Bowl ring is being auctioned.

A ring given to the man who had illegally recorded practices and walk-through’s of the New England Patriots opponents in 2007 is being auctioned out after selling the ring in May of 2012.

Goldin Auctions is now selling the Super Bowl XXXIX ring which is currently at $5,704 with one day left.

The recording resulted in the biggest penalty ever assessed with Patriots head coach Bill Belichick fined $500,000 (the maximum allowed by the league), fined the Patriots $250,000, and docked the team their original first-round selection in the 2008 NFL Draft which would have been the 31st pick of the draft.
