The Hunger Games and 25th Hour Actor Found Dead with Needle in Arm (UPDATE) [Photo]
Philip Seymour Hoffman was found dead on Feb 2nd, 2014 inside of a Greenwich Village home. It appears that he died after a drug overdose says authorities. They found the Oscar winning actor in the bathroom with a needle in his arm and bags of heroin around him. Police officials are currently at the scene still conducting their investigation. Phillip has admitted to struggling with a heroin addiction and checked into rehab last year. He was currently in the middle of filming “God’s Pocket” set to release this year as well as The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2″. There’s no word on how this will effect these films as he held a major role. Phillip was more recognize for his part in popular films “The Hunger Games”, “Along Came Polly”, and “25th Hour”. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
