Lady Gaga got some great news to start of her new year. The Chinese government has officially removed Gaga’s music from their blacklist. Upon hearing this Gaga shared the news with her fans via twitter:
Her latest album ARTPOP will be available for sell to the general Chinese population with a few alterations. The government has made the cover art a little more PG-13 enlarging the ball to cover more of her upper body and put black stockings to cover her legs. They also changed the title of one her tracks to “X Dreams” instead of “Sexxx Dreams”.
China blacklisted Lady Gaga’s music back in 2011 after their Culture Ministry felt her work created “confusion in the order of the online music market, and damaging the nation’s cultural security”.
