Neiman Marcus Is Moving To Brooklyn [Photo]
Yes! The high-end retailer plans to move to Brooklyn. The Dallas-based merchant will lease 16,000 square feet from Albert Laboz of United American Land, which in 2011 won the right to transform the city-owned building’s lower floors from a Department of Finance back office into a 49,000-square-foot retail space.
If a brief query of shoppers on Thursday is any indication, Brooklyn and Neiman will be fast friends.
In June, makeup giant Sephora announced it would move into the corner spot at the base of the building. That first Sephora branch joined the popular YogaWorks.
Clever move? What do you think?
