Yes! H&M is back at it! The company’s latest sportswear collection is inspired by Swedish Olympic Athletes.
The Swedish apparel chain, which will outfit the Swedish Olympic and Paralympic athletes in the Sochi Winter Olympic Games, has presented its Go Gold collection, a line of ultra-functional sportswear inspired by these world-class athletes.
Athletes on the Swedish Olympic Team took part in the design process for each item in the collection, ensuring that each piece meets the highest standards of functionality.
The Go Gold line includes light and portable down jackets, quick-drying jerseys and pants for running, a reversible down jacket for women and a quilted bomber jacket for men. Sneakers, backpacks and sunglasses round out the collection. In addition to classic white and black pieces, the collection features a number of items in Sweden’s national colors, blue and yellow.
“The athletes of the Swedish Olympic Team are really excited about the H&M outfits for Sochi 2014 — both for their functionality and their style,” stated Swedish Olympic medal-winning swimmer Therese Alshammar. “It’s great to share the Olympic look with fans through the Go Gold collection at H&M Sport, and it was fun to contribute with our input during the design process.”
