J.R. Smith Fined $50,000 For Untying Shoes During Game [Video]

J.R. Smith does it again.

He was fined $50,000 for what the league states as “recurring instances of unsportsmanlike conduct” after untying Dallas Mavericks forward Shawn Marion’s sneaker two games ago, and trying again on Detroit Pistons center Greg Monroe’s during last nights game.

Smith has been heavy in the news this season for the New York Knicks for various reasons including marijuana usage, on the court issues, responding to fans on Twitter and more.

He scored six points and recorded two assists in the Knicks 89-85 win last night.

Smith reached to the fine on his Twitter page.
