Lovie Smith To Coach Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The second of six NFL coaching vacancies has been filled before the first playoff game has even been played.
Lovie Smith, former coach of the Chicago Bears will be hired to replace Greg Schiano as head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers according to ESPN.
He will be hired with a four year contract, with an option for a fifth year.
Former Buccaneers coach Tony Dungy congratulated Smith on the new job.

Schiano had coached the team to a 4-12 season that was surrounded by much turmoil and controversy.
The former Rutgers coach has been rumored to take over for the vacant Penn State job that was held by Bill O’ Brian who went to the Houston Texans January 1.
