Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao Fight Set? [Video]

Will the super fight of Floyd Mayweather against Manny Pacquiao finally happen?

With an opponent still unnamed for 2014, and Pacquiao being the “#1 contender,” the hype is once again building for the super fight to happen.

According to an unnamed source “close to Mayweather,” the fight may have already been signed and ready to go.

“Great news in the world of boxing. He [the source] is telling me that Floyd and Manny Pacquiao will be fighting in 2014 guaranteed and it’s already done,” Everything else that you will see will be just theatrics from here on out. But the fight is already done.”

Pacquiao’s camp denied the “secret” deal, saying that you shouldn’t believe anything that comes out before anything was formally announced.

Yahoo Philippines’ Ronnie Nathanielsz contacted Pacquiao’s adviser Michael Koncz shortly after he arrived at the airport in Los Angeles for a reaction to the story.

Koncz inquired where he read the story and whom did they quote as the source of the story and emphasized “It’s not me, my friend.”

He added, “please do not believe everything that you read (about a Mayweather fight) unless it comes from Manny or me.”

Interestingly enough, Amir Khan signed a deal to fight Mayweather in 2014. “Money” still hasn’t signed his side of the deal putting the fight a question, but Khan wants his chance to face the undefeated champion.

“I am the one who signed the contract. I have signed my part of the contract. They have not signed theirs, if he wants to fight Amir Khan, then he should sign it.

No matter what the fight, it is surely going to be an entertaining fight.
