Golden State Warriors & Los Angeles Clippers Fight During Christmas [Video]
Tis’ the season to be jolly. Unless your the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers.
During last night’s Christmas Day matchup against the two teams, things got a bit ugly as two scuffles both involving Blake Griffin broke out during the game, leading to two ejections and three technical fouls.
The first incident happened at the end of the third quarter. As the quarter ended Draymond Green decided to give Griffin a little wake up call with a flying elbow right to the big man’s neck. The two met face to face on the floor shortly after before they were split apart and the situation escalated.
Green was ejected and a double technical foul was assessed to the teams.
Then in the forth quarter Warriors center Andrew Bogut decided he wanted in, and began pushing with Griffin. The two got separated before a punch was thrown but after some shoving back and forth another double technical was given, ejecting Griffin.
This helped lead the Warriors to an exciting 105-103 victory.
At the end of the game Chris Paul got into Bogut’s face, with the Clippers Matt Barnes shoving the Austrailian in the back causing the benches to defend their team as they both shoved each other and shared holiday pleasantries with each other.
