Brook Lopez Out For The Season

The Brooklyn Nets didn’t only suffer a heartbreaking loss to the Philadelphia 76ers last night.

Nets announced today that Brook Lopez will be out for the season with a broken foot suffered yesterday. He is officially stated as having “fractured fifth metatarsal of his right foot.” This is the same foot that was fractured a two years ago, in which a screw was placed inside.

Brooklyn is 9-17 on the season and has seen injuries to Jason Terry, Paul Pierce, Andrei Kirilenko, Deron Williams and more during the season.

As of right now it looks as though Kevin Garnett, Andray Blatche and Kirilenko with the rookie Mason Plumlee looking to see time as well.
