Alex Rodriguez Preparing Tell All Book & Documentary
Alex Rodriguez just can’t stay out of the limelight. Not for one second.
In light of Major League Baseball’s investigation for using performance enhancing drugs, A-Rod is looking to write a tell all book accompanied by a documentary detailing the experience he’s had thus far trying to clear my name.
New York Post’s Emily Smith discussed the specifics in an article.
HarperCollins and Random House are two of the top publishers battling for the real A-Rod story, and that a deal could be signed in the next few weeks.
Alex has also recently had several meetings with filmmaker Billy Corben — whose work includes the acclaimed “Cocaine Cowboys,” which depicts Miami drug culture in the 1970s and ’80s — about making a documentary about his battle to stay on the field.
The documentary will be some sort of 30 for 30 style documentary. Rodriguez is looking to get his side of the story out aside from what he has said in interviews the past month and a half.
A ruling of the appeal for his 211 game suspension is rumored to be announced in January.
