Adrien Broner Speaks On Loss; Gets Loaded In Ambulance [Full Fight]
Adrien Broner’s status with the media didn’t only take a hit with the loss against Marcos Maidana Saturday night, but by walking out the ring without conducting an interview after losing the WBA welterweight championship.
In a statement to AP Broner said,
“I’m OK. I’m still the three-time world champion in three different weight classes. Tonight, Maidana was just the better man, but we fought a hell of a fight. I hope the fans got what they deserved. … I’m still going to live like we won the fight. I’m still going to party.”
The fighter was being compared to Floyd Mayweather after winning the Welterweight title from Paulie Malignaggi in June. Now he is looking for revenge against Maidana after being knocked down for the first two times in his career.
“I’ll tell you one thing, make a rematch. I don’t need a warm-up fight. I want a rematch”
For an exciting fight, I can’t wait to see this happen.
