Texas Rangers Select Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson In Rule 5 Draft [Video]
Yes. You read that right.
Major League Baseball is holding the Rule 5 draft today. The Rule 5 draft allows for other teams to choose a player from another team that is not on their 40 man roster.

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson had a future in baseball before he chose football, and was still Colorado Rockies property even as he is leading the team to an 11-2 season and first in the division.
Since he chose football instead, although he had not been playing he was still technically available for the draft and the Texas Rangers took the former second baseman.
Maybe, they will try to get a deal going with the Dallas Cowboys.
Earlier last season, Wilson still showed he had the skills by throwing a 75 mph (originally recordied as 95 mph) first pitch at a Seattle Mariners game.
