New York Knicks Looking To Steal Bulls Coach?

In the search for a potential replacement in case the New York Knicks keep losing and decide to fire head coach Mike Woodson, the team might look at a rival teams leader to take the spot.

ESPN’s Marc Stein reports that the team might try to acquire Tom Thibodeau from the Chicago Bulls.

“Extricating Thibodeau from his Bulls contract in the coming offseason would by no means be easy. The Bulls, as we know them now, wouldn’t be the Bulls without him. And Thibodeau, obviously, would have to want to leave Chicago for New York.”

Other options for the probably Knicks long wishlist include Phil Jackson, Jeff Van Gundy, Stan Van Gundy, Allan Houston, heck maybe bring Lenny Wilkins back and see what happens.

In addition the team is looking to make some trades to improve the 5-15 team.
