Brooklyn Nets Mirza Teletovic Asks For Trade

Not only is it bad enough that the Brooklyn Nets with their high hopes are 5-12. Even worse is the fact that they are losing their star players Paul Pierce for at least two weeks, and haven’t had much of Deron Williams, Andrei Kirilenko,  and Brook Lopez all season.

Now one of their three point specialists Mirza Teletovic, whom they signed last year from Bosnia for three years and $15.675 million, wants out as he sees lack of playing time with the team.

Reported by the Sarajevo Times the forward wants to go to a team where he can be a bigger leader and have more playing time according to his manager Miodrag Ražnatovi?.

‘’Now the situation is better. He will get a chance, but, generally, our idea is to try to find luck somewhere else. We will try in a quiet and civilized way to agree with the club and to come to a trade in the next month or two where he will get more playing time’’, said his trainer.

‘’I am absolutely certain that he can be one of the top NBA players because he has a shot that other top players do not have. It is up to us to be able to find the right place, where he will have a leadership position as he had in the national team and in Kaha Laboral’’

The Nets next play the New York Knicks in a big rivalry game against disappointing teams this Thursday at the Barclays Center.
