USC Hires Steve Sarkisian As Head Coach

USC football has chosen Washington’s current head coach Steve Sarkisian as its new head coach according to ESPN.

Sarkisian has been coaching Washington since 2009, where he led the team to a 34-29 record during his tenure.

After firing Lane Kiffin earlier in the season, USC has compiled a record of 9-3 in the season.

As of last night Vanderbilt head coach James Franklin was a candidate for the job, as well as Boise Sate Chris Petersen and Denver Broncos defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio.
