Jason Kidd Tries To Ice Player With ‘Cup Trick’ [Video]
Jason Kidd will do anything to get a win from the Brooklyn Nets these days.
So it shouldn’t be any surprise that when the game seemed to be out of reach in last night’s 99-94 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, Kidd had one more trick up his sleeve to keep it a three point game.
After a time out he called point guard Tyshawn Taylor to the bench, who going to his seat bumped into Kidd, spilling his Coca-Cola all over the floor causing a delay.
Kidd said about the incident,
“The cup slipped out of my hand. I was getting tired. Sweaty palms. I was never good with the ball. So, in the heat of the battle, you’re trying to get guys in and out of the game, and the Coke fell out of my hand.”
Meanwhile, Tyshawn Taylor simply said he wasn’t paying any attention.
“Nah, I wasn’t paying attention. I didn’t even know he was holding nothing. Like, coach is drinking soda on the sidelines! I’m like ‘What? What you doing?'”
Either way, Jodie Meeks hit the free through, and the Lakers won the game.
