Letter With Tim Tebow Picture Evacuates New Jersey City Hall
How do you strike fear in a government, and the state of New Jersey? Put a picture of Tim Tebow in an envelope, add some white powder, and send it to City Hall.
This is what someone did earlier today, as just after 2pm today a letter which was addressed to mayor of Jersey City, Steven Fulop opened an odd letter filled with spiritual readings and the contents listed above.
CBS New York reported the specifics of the contents in the letter.
“There was also a letter inside, which sources told the newspaper contained “spiritual stuff; heaven stuff,” along with a picture of the former Jets quarterback. But the exact contents of the letter were not revealed to the newspaper pending investigation.”
According to reports, the substance inside of the letter were deemed not harmful from toxicology tests as police dressed in hazmat suits searched through the evacuated facility.
Tebow is known for following his Christian beliefs, and speaking about them publicly. He previously played for both the Denver Broncos and the New York Jets, and played the preseason with the New England Patriots. Tim Tebow is currently a free agent and not with a team this NFL season.
