Dwayne Wade Television Show Coming Soon To FOX

With LeBron James looking into investing in a new MLS team, Miami Heat teammate Dwayne Wade is taking a different approach by selling a sitcom to FOX based on his life.

According to ESPN, “Three the Hard Way,” will revolve around the life of fictional NBA player Daryl Wade, as he balances both his life as a professional athlete and being a single father to his two sons. It will be based on Dwayne Wade’s real life as well as his book A Father First, which was released last year.

“His entourage of eccentric friends, find themselves parenting by committee, when he gets full custody of his two young sons. It’s a recipe made for disaster, but no matter how misinformed, misguided, or unfit Team Wade may be, they have a trump card that can’t lose. It’s called love.”

Wade won custody of his children in 2011 from his ex-wife Siohvaughn Wade, only to lose custody earlier this year. He is currently dating actress Gabrielle Union.

There is no release date yet for the show.
