Dozens Of Tornadoes Reported In The Midwest! [Video]

This Just IN! CNN reports the latest tornado watches in 8 states in the Midwest! “Severe weather erupted throughout the Midwest on Sunday afternoon, with tornadoes tearing through several cities and a storm forcing fans to evacuate the stands during an NFL game.” The Chicago Bears game scheduled today was interrupted once the tornado touched down in Illinois.

The article then goes on to state; “At least one person died in Nashville, Illinois, as a result of the severe storms, said Patti Thompson, a spokeswoman for the Illinois Emergency Management Agency. Nearly 50 tornadoes had been reported throughout the region as of 4 p.m. Sunday, the National Weather Service said.
In Illinois, large, fast-moving tornadoes touched down near Washington, which is just east of Peoria, and Frankfort, near the southern outskirts of Chicago, the National Weather Service said.
Another tornado was spotted in Paducah, Kentucky, the weather service said. In Oak Lawn, Illinois, a wind gust of 86 mph was recorded as a severe thunderstorm rolled through the area. There was extensive damage from the storms, the weather service said.
Lance told CNN that many residents heeded warning sirens and moved to storm shelters before the tornado hit his city.
Tornado watches have been issued from Michigan to Missouri, CNN meteorologist Karen Maginnis said. Severe weather threatened 26 states and more than 100 million people, she said.”
