Was The Knicks Robbed Last Night? [Video]

The New York Knicks looking to comeback after a tough start of their season, saw their luck go against them again as they went to the wire with the Houston Rockets last night.

Carmelo Anthony put the team on his back last night scoring 45 points, including what seemed to be a game tying, and possibly leading basket with 5.8 points remaining.

Here’s the play:

Knicks inbound the ball to Anthony, who stands grabs the ball at the top of the three point line, and immediately goes into his shooting motion. James Harden playing very close defense bumps Anthony as soon as he makes a move towards the shot. The shot goes in. Referee decides to call a foul on the play, but said “Melo” was not in the shooting motion when he was fouled. This allowed for two shots.

The Knicks were down by three.

After a few fouls back and forth, New York ended up losing 109-106 bringing them to 3-5 on the season.
