Allen Iverson went back to Philadelphia with his family, and announced a retirement to a memorable career in which he enjoyed primarily with the Philadelphia 76ers.

After being selected #1 overall by the Philadelphia 76ers, Iverson played his heart out while averaging 26.7 points per game, 6.2 assists per game, 3.7 rebounds per game and 2.2 steals per game.

He also won the 1996 rookie of the year award, the 2001 MVP award; made seven All-NBA teams; was voted in as an 11-time All-Star; four time NBA scoring champion, and carried the 76ers to the NBA Finals in 2001.
