The ‘Blame Game’ Has Already Begun for the Federal Government Shutdown! [Photo]

The Democratic Party and the Republican are currently having negotiation issues in the “Shutdown Crisis”. It seems as if both parties cannot come to a compromise regarding this problem because they’re too busy blaming each other on who’s fault it is, as to why the government may be briefly shutting down, according to U.S news.

“Republicans passed legislation Sunday to tie a short-term funding bill to a one-year delay of the Affordable Care Act and a repeal of the medical device tax.Democrats, meanwhile, dug in, refusing to negotiate Obamacare as Congress attempts to keep the government’s lights on. Despite GOP calls for the Senate to come back to work Sunday, Majority Leader Harry Reid, R-Nev., will try to run out the clock, throwing the funding bill hot potato back to the House just hours before the government is slated to shut down.

The Senate is expected Monday afternoon to send yet another clean continuing resolution back to the House of Representatives. House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, will then have to choose between a government shutdown or abandoning his most conservative members in the GOP conference and pass a clean spending bill.
Just hours before the shutdown, communications between Republican and Democratic leadership appeared to be nonexistent.

“We learn about what the speaker is proposing through their press releases,” says ranking member on the House Budget Committee Rep. Chris Van Hollen, D-Md.”
