Drake Looks To Re-Brand Toronto Raptors As ‘Global Ambassador’ [Photo]
Taking a page from the way Jay Z branded the Brooklyn Nets through their first year back in New York City, Drake is officially an employee of the Toronto Raptors.
The NBA team officially announced today that Drizzy Drake is now the global ambassador, creating a chance for the YMCMB rapper to bring his vision to to the Toronto franchise looking for a chance to re-brand themselves after one playoff series win in 18 years.
Some of Drake’s responsibilities will include redesigning the Raptors image which is hosting the 2016 All-Star game, and is looking for a more global audience.
His new position will help bring new colors for the 2015-2016 season, affordable games for families, and much more as the team tries to become a hosehold name again for the first time since they had Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady on the team.
Trading for Rudy Gay last year is at least a good start. Let’s just hope we don’t start to see these logos very soon.
