September Game Release Calendar

September Game Release Calendar

September isn’t just the return of school for the kids it’s also normally the return of new game releases after the summer drought. This year we actually got a lot of quality titles a month early due to studios trying to get out of the way of one mega release in particular this month, Grand Theft Auto V. Though there are plenty of games coming out most are new versions of previously released titles or games that know they’re targeting a totally different demographic which shouldn’t be hurt too badly by launching the same month as big bad GTA 5. Even so the highly anticipated and heavily delayed Rayman Legends made sure to get out at the very beginning of the month. The only game that wasn’t at all worried about getting out in front of GTA 5 is FIFA Soccer 14 which is easily the biggest selling game worldwide. That should do fine despite GTA especially since you can get it on pretty much anything that can play a video game. Grand Theft Auto might be the last great game of this console generation that won’t see a next gen version in November. So if you were planning to stop buying games all together until the new consoles came out just know you’ll be missing out on possibly one of the most anticipated titles in years.
