Former Egyptian Present Mubarak Released From Prison [Photo]

As previously suspected, former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has been from prison at 10am ET this morning on the orders of a Cairo court and placed upon house arrest. Mubarak’s release is expected to cause tension among Egyptians who are already angered by the recent ousting of President Mohamed Morsi, jailed for preventing to stop the killing of hundreds of anti-government protesters during the tumultuous Arab Spring. Mubarak’s release is seen as symbolic of the old regime now empowered and gaining strength. Currently Mubarak is awaiting a retrial for the 2011 deaths of protesters in addition to at least two other separate corruption charges.
