China Zoo Caught Disguising Dog as Lion!
A Tibetan Mastiff (a large, long hair, dog) barked instead of belting out a roar as a spectator was explaining what sounds different animal makes to her son. The zoo, which is located in the central province of Henan, has labeled various ordinary animals as foreign and exotic creatures.
In addition to the “African lion,” a white fox replaced a leopard, another dog was classified as a wolf, and two coypus (South American river rats) were found in a snake’s cage.
Zoo official, Liu Suya, insists that the facility does have a lion it was moved to a breeding facility.
Which is worse, the fact that the zoo passed a dog as an “African lion” or that patrons did not know that the “African lion” wasn’t actually a lion?
