Israel, Palestinians Hold Third Round of Peace Talks [Photo]

Israel's Justice Minister Livni arrives to a special cabinet meeting in Jerusalem in commemoration of Menahem Begin

Israelis and Palestinians held a third round of negotiations on Tuesday. Minister of Justice of Israel Tzipi Livni predicted “there will be dramatic decisions” by Israel at the end of the negotiating process. The negotiations were renewed just last month after a three-year standoff over Israeli settlement expansion in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. For its part, Israel has rejected criticism of its settlement policy while the general consensus among other countries is that settlements Israel has built on occupied land are viewed as illegal. So far no details have been released from the negotiation talks with Livi saying, “We are arguing, but we are arguing inside the room.”
