“For me to come in and regain my title, it’s always great to be back,” Bolt said.

“I came out here just to execute and get it right and to win,” Bolt said. “That’s what I do.”

Gatlin made it more of race than many thought he could, staying ahead until the closing stages.

“They wanted an epic race in rain and they got it,” the American said. – nydailynews

ctually and ironically, lightning struck as Usain Bolt crossed the finish line to reclaim the 100M (sprint) title at the World Championships in Moscow yesterday! Bolt lost his reign in the event two years ago at the World Championships in South Korea due to a false start! This time, he came off the blocks late, but rang up his signature burst (of speed) down the stretch to take first from American Justin Gatlin (2004 Olympic Champion) with a time of 9.77 seconds! Bolt, 26, representing Jamaica kept a more somber demeanor in this race; canceling out his early celebrations while still showing his trademark “Lightning Bolt” pose after the race!
