A-Rod Deals With Heavy MLB Suspension?!
“I’ve been on the field for the last five and a half hours, I haven’t heard anything. My focus is to play baseball. I was excited to be playing tonight and even more excited about Monday” Rodriguez said about all of the rumors swirling around him and his plans to be activated from the disabled list that he has been on all season. “I can’t wait to see my teammates. I feel like I can help us win and be a better team and I haven’t seen a lot of my brothers in a long time.”
“I feel great. It was great to see a lot of pitches and play back-to-back days. I also got some action at third base and I’m ready to go,” Rodriguez told reporters in a short press conference after the game. – usatoday
A-Rod has been dealing with a lot of HEAT over his obvious involvement with the Biogenesis steroid alternative clinic in Miami! MLB will hand him a stiff 214-game suspension (and minus $34 Million in salary) to go through 2014 today, but he is expected to appeal the ban (at noon today) and be in Chicago at U.S. Cellular Field for his debut tonight! A-Rod has hit a hump, from dealing with lengthy injuries to paying lawyers fees for his love for the roids to now facing a stiff suspension! Once upon a time, A-Rod was on pace to even break Hank Aaron HR record (obviously count out Barry Bonds for the steroids), but injuries, slumps, and age came up on him quick! When all is said and done A-Rod will probably be dealt a 50-game suspension!
Whats up with the Yankees? Posting a mediocre 57-53 and fourth place in the AL East; the Yankees may not even make the Playoffs this year! Give me feedback below…
