Spurs Overwhelm Heat With NBA Finals Record-Breaking Performance! [Video]

Danny Green and Gary Neal

Danny Green (l.) and Gary Neal (r.) came out of nowhere with a NBA Finals record three-point barrage on Tuesday night at the FedEx Forum in San Antonio, Texas.

”It shouldn’t be a surprise,” said Spurs coach Gregg Popovich. ”These are the last two teams standing. I don’t think either one of them is going to get down if they have a bad night.”

”Those guys shot incredibly,” Duncan said. ”Gave us the breathing room when we needed it.” – foxsports

Lebron stratching his head

“I’m not putting the blame on anybody. I’m owning everything I did,” James said after the Spurs crushed the Miami Heat, 113-77. “I’ve got to do more. It’s that simple.” – nydailynews

Spurs coach Popo: “Foreign players work harder”

T

he San Antonio Spurs overwhelmed (and whooped) the Miami Heat, 113-77 on a NBA Finals record 16-three pointers for game 3 last night! The Spurs now hold a 2-1 NBA Finals series lead with the next two games at home, the FedEx Forum in San Antonio, TX! Gary Neal (six threes) and Danny Green (seven threes) combined for 51 points, as the Spurs drew up the third biggest victory in NBA Finals history last night! Tim Duncan was solid with 12 points and 14 boards, and young Kawhi Leonard followed suit with 14 points and 12 boards! Leonard also locked up Lebron James on D, keeping him to 15 points, 11 boards (and five assists) on an awful 7-for-21 shooting! Lebron was so upset (shaken) he skipped the post-game interview! On the unfortunate for the Spurs play-maker Tony Parker (eight assists) may have pulled a hamstring! Game 4 on Thursday should be an interesting culmination of Lebron’s revenge lol and Spurs less Tony Parker! Overall, the Spurs just controlled the glass out-rebounding the Heat (52-36), and made a lot of their shots including the dagger threes! For the Heat stats, Dwyane Wade finished with 16 points and four steals, Chris Bosh showed up with 12 points, 10 boards and three blocks, and Mike Miller hit five three’s for 15 points off the bench!
