Kelly Rowland Says Destiny’s Child Songs ‘Girl’ And ‘Bad Habit’ Are About Abusive Relationship & Reveals Celebrity Crush
Kelly Rowland stopped by HOT 107.9 Philly to reveal the inspiration behind Destiny’s Child songs ‘Girl’ and ‘Bad Habit’, dish out on her celebrity crush and threw some shade at her ex-fiancé Roy Williams. During the interview, ‘Dirty Laundry’ was the hot topic. The singer explained how Destiny’s Child fans were able to connect the dots between ‘ Dirty Laundry’ single and ‘Girls’. The song ‘Girls’ was written to help Kelly get over her abusive relationship.
Yes. I love that song too, and it’s so funny because I don’t know how people connect dots with music and artists that they have followed for so long, but when I that on Twitter people were starting to put all pieces to the puzzle together, it was so interesting. They did it with ‘Girl’, they did it with ‘Bad Habit’, they did it with so many songs on that album, and I was like, ‘Okay, that’s crazy.’
When she asked about ex-fiance Roy Williams commenting on her single, she asked, “Who?”
The R&B singer revealed her celebrity crush, ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star Jesse Williams.
He’s taken and I completely respect his wife… if he’s married. Jessie Williams from ‘Grey’s Anatomy’. He’s just gorgeous, it makes no sense how beautiful this man is. I saw him at Super Bowl, and I refused to stare. It’s almost like you’re looking at a work of art. He’s such a man like in the way he talks, and the way he acts, it’s just really interesting.
Kelly also sat down “omg! Insider” Kevin Frazier for a tearful interview that went a bit deeper into the bond she shares with Bey and Michelle.
