NFL MVP Adrian Peterson Against Same-Sex Marriage?!

Minnesota Vikings v Chicago Bears

“To each his own. I’m not with it, but I have relatives that are gay. I’m not biased towards them,” Adrian Peterson, the NFL’s reigning MVP, said during a Sirius/XM interview. “I still treat them the same. I love them, but again, I’m not with that. That’s not something I can believe in.” – nypost

Chris Kluwe

“I’m sure the Vikings organization did not release him (Kluwe) based on that. They know he’s outspoken. It hurt me to see him leave,” Peterson said.nypost

“They know Kluwe. They’ve been knowing him for a long time. They know he’s outspoken.”

“He (Kluwe) was a good friend of mine and a really cool guy. [He’s] probably one of the smartest guys I’ve ever been around. [He’s] different.” – nydailynews

FL MVP Adrian Peterson in an interview with Bruce Murray and Amani Toomer on Sirius/XM NFL Radio, spoke against same-sex marriage, adding that he has no problem with homosexuality in itself?! The story broke just a day after US Soccer experienced its first official coming out party with LA Galaxy’s Robbie Rogers revealing himself! Peterson’s former teammate, punter Chris Kluwe, who was recently released from the team is (and has been) an advocate for same-sex marriage! Now, speculation has arisen from Kluwe’s recent release from the team relative to Peterson’s stance; Kluwe started with the Vikings in 2007!
