idden from the front page news is the first player to ‘come out’ as openly gay in the US soccer world! LA Galaxy’s Robbie Rogers broke ground, as he admitted to his homosexuality after almost prematurely retiring and then signing with the team! He also instantly became the first ‘gay’ soccer player in the US to play in a match (last night) joining his new team, the Galaxy, in the 77th minute to help them to a 4-0 victory over the Seattle Sounders!
