NY Post Poll: Who Stays Who Goes On The KnicksTape?

Stat Shumpert

“We didn’t give it a chance,’’ Stoudemire said after the Knicks’ season ended in heartbreak in a 106-99 loss to the Pacers in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference semifinals. “We need to understand exactly what my style of play is and what I bring to the table. It’s something I have to sit down with Coach Woody and express to him.’’ – nypost

“I want to retire a Knick,” said Smith, who can opt out of his contract this offseason, in the aftermath of the Knicks’ season-ending 106-99 Game 6 defeat. “I don’t want to go anywhere else.”

“They tried to rely on me, and I didn’t step up,” Smith said. “Regardless of what that says about me or my game, that won’t happen again.”

“Unsatisfied,” he said of his emotions. “I hate losing more than I like winning.”

“I haven’t even thought about all that,” he said. “I’ve still got to talk to Leon [Rose, agent] and see where we’re at.” – nypost

nyone who lives in NY has some sense of NY Pride whether it be a skip of the heartbeat when everyone cheers on a Melo make or Shump trey, or a gasp of air when Melo or J.R. misses! We (NY) all love the Knicks to some degree! All in all, the Knicks made it to the second round of the NBA Playoffs for the first time in 13 years, so show Knick pride with that! Now to the point, some Knicks are old, some spots are secure, while others are on the chopping block! Right after last night’s devastating loss to the Pacers (and Playoff elimination) J.R. Smith pleaded his case to stay on the squad! Amare Stoudemire, who still has two-years and $57 Million left on his contract, said he needs to talk to coach (Mike Woodson) in the off-season after a severely injury marred season! The Knicks need to try to lock up Chris Copeland before he traded away, and hope Iman Shumpert sticks around! Raymond Felton and Tyson Chandler also drew up questions marks after a lackluster playoff series! Vote for who stays and who goes and also check out results from the NY Post Poll!
