Nate Robinson (l.), who scored 18 points, looks in amazement as Deron Williams goes up for the lay-up at Thursday night’s game at the United Center in Chicago, IL.

”There is not a team in the league that plays harder than them,” Nets coach P.J. Carlesimo said. ”We could have made it easier on ourselves and given us more of a cushion if we made some layups and free throws late in the game.” – foxsports

Andray Blatche gives C.J. Watson a pound

Andray Blatche (r.) gives C.J. Watson (l.) a pound. The bench players put up solid minutes in place of the starters during last night’s game.

”Most people would have counted us out being down 3-1,” Blatche said. ”But we kept fighting. We showed that we have a lot of heart. Now that it’s tied up, we have to go out with the same hunger, the same attitude, finish this off.” – foxsports

“That was the only thing on our minds today, having a Game 7 going back to Brooklyn,” said Andray Blatche, who scored the Nets’ final five points to seal the win. “We got the job done, and now we have to go home and finish it off.”

“I’m not going to lie to you … it was loud,” Blatche said with a smile. “I just tried to block it out and stayed focused. We shoot a lot of free throws in practice, so I tried to just follow my same routine and just follow through.” – nypost
