he NY Yankees are starting to come back on the up and up, and won their third straight game over the Toronto Blue Jays behind ace C.C. Sabathia and newbie Travis Hafner at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx last night! The Yankees improved to (14-9) with the win, and the Blue Jays sunk to (9-16)! C.C. pitched well giving up four runs, three earned, while striking out four in eight innings pitched, and improved his record to (4-2) with a 3.35ERA! His K to inning ratio has dropped like his velocity, but he can still go the distance and pitch well! Travis Hafner started it off for the Yankees hitting a three-run bomb in bottom of the fourth inning and followed up later in the bottom of the seventh inning with the go-ahead RBI triple! Vernon Wells got things going adding up a clutch RBI single and also scored two runs! The Yankees will take on the Blue Jays and former Met knuckleballer R.A. Dickey at Yankee stadium 1:05PM EST TBS/YES today!
